The Kurchatov Center for Synchrotron Radiation and Nanotechnology (KCSRNT) is the first facility in Russia dedicated to the production and use of synchrotron radiation. The K4.4 station is dedicated for the research of atomic structure of bioorganic objects for establishing molecular mechanisms of functioning of the various bioorganic systems, for the research of compounds with biological activity, promising for medicine and pharmacology.
