NSLS ceased operation 30th September 2014.
The National Synchrotron Light Source was a 2nd generation (2.8 GeV) synchrotron with both a UV and X-ray storage ring.
This facility was decommissioned in September 2014, and all activities are now conducted at the new NSLS-II laboratory.
